As many of you know we have been looking for ways to put the seminar room to good use so a couple of weeks ago I arranged a demo with an EPFX biofeedback technician. I was attached to the EPFX machine by loose straps on my wrists, feet and head, and for 3 minutes it read all kinds of information about me.
I was amazed that the results corresponded extremely accurately with things that I know about myself and my body. Yolanda, the biofeedback technician was able to pinpoint certain minerals and vitamins I was deficient in and provide lots more fascinating information. She will be offering free 15 minute demos between 2 and 6pm on Wednesday 29th August which is Customer Appreciation Day - 20% off all regular priced items. You can also book half hour appointments for $45 or one and a half hour appointments for $125.

Christine Ralfs, author of "Stop Asthma Naturally" will do Buteyko breathing workshops, and
Lisa Buchanan will lead gentle, relaxing yoga classes with a guided meditaion component designed for people who have difficulty managing regular yoga classes (possibly due to chronic disease etc.). Classes will be small so that exercises can be tailored to indivual needs. Classes are on Tuesday mornings between 11-12 o'clock starting September 11th and finishing November 13th and will cost $120 for the course.
Dr Vladimir Topalo is a very interesting man. He is a homeopath, iridologist, herbalist you name it. He is a medical doctor and neurophysician from Russia. He has been practicing for 20 years. Because of his knowledge of conventional medicine and various modalities of alternative medicine he seems to offer the possible ability to diagnose and treat problems which may be elusive to other practitioners. Some of his interests are iridology, homeopathy, homotoxicology, healing touch, manual therapy, light therapy and darsonval treatment.
He will see a patient initially for 60-90 minutes, using iridology and possibly pulse, fingernails, tongue, personal and genetic medical history etc. as diagnostic tools. Then on a second consultation the patient receives the iridology chart and an individual treatment plan which may include information on homeopathic remedies, herbals, nutritional supplements, glandulars or other therapeutic protocols. Nutritional requirements and dietary suggestions, exercise patterns, emotional issues etc will be included. By combining conventional and alternative diagnostic approaches, Dr Topalo has developed innovative and effective treatments for different diseases and disorders.
He charges $120 which covers both consultations.
We will be running a series of seminars during September on "Fighting cancer - how can natural therapies help?" We shall not be encouraging people to abandon conventional therapies but presenting various options which may speed the healing process and ease side effects of treatment. One of the speakers is Nasim Rawji who is a Reiki practitioner and currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
